Startup website design
A startup's site has to work for customers, candidates and investors at once, and it has to keep up as the product changes. Here's what a seed or Series A startup actually needs, and how Marshal builds it.
What the site needs to do
- One sentence that says what the product does and for whom
- Real product screenshots or a working demo, not illustrations
- Proof as soon as you have any: a customer, a quote, a number
- A careers page and one clear call to action
What’s usually wrong now
- A site generated in an afternoon that loads blank without JavaScript
- Copy written for investors when customers are the ones reading
- A design that no longer matches the product
What I build
- A design system shared with the product, set up as tokens
- A fast Next.js site on Vercel, or Framer if your team edits it weekly
- Live demos, sign-in or pricing connected to the product where it helps
Designed in Figma first so you see real screens before any code, built and deployed by the same person, and handed over with the code, the design files and every account in your name.

Questions
- Do you work with pre-seed startups?
- Yes. The trial (one page or one feature in a fixed two weeks, $1,000) is a common way to start before a round closes.
