Website design for recruitment agencies
Candidates check your site before they apply, and hiring managers check it before they send you a role. If it's a template that hasn't changed in years, or there's no site at all, both quietly go elsewhere. Here's what a recruitment agency's site needs, and what it costs to build properly.
What the site needs to do
- Live vacancies people can search by sector and location, with an application that takes a minute on a phone
- A short, plain way for employers to send you a vacancy or book a call
- Pages for the sectors you actually place in, so you show up when someone searches for them
- Your consultants' names and faces: people work with people
What’s usually wrong now
- No website on the Google listing, so the only thing people find is a Facebook page
- A Wix or GoDaddy template that looks like every other agency's
- Job listings that are out of date or hard to apply to on a phone
- Pages that load blank to Google, so you don't show up for the sectors you place in
What I build
- A vacancies section, fed from your job board or ATS where it has an API, or easy to update by hand
- Application and vacancy forms that land in your inbox or CRM
- Sector and location pages written for search
Designed in Figma first so you see real screens before any code, built and deployed by the same person, and handed over with the code, the design files and every account in your name.

Questions
- Can it pull jobs from our ATS?
- Usually, yes. If your applicant tracking system or job board has an API or a job feed, the vacancies section can read from it, so you post a role once. If it doesn't, you get a simple way to add and close roles yourself.
- How much does a recruitment agency website cost?
- A site of up to five pages starts at $2,000. One with a live vacancies feed and applications usually falls in the $4,700 to $10,000 project range. You get a fixed price after a 20-minute call.
