Allegro
Allegro’s terms and conditions state that “photos are to show the item accurately, in detail, and be available on any device to make it easier for buyers to see the listing.”
What technical requirements must the photos meet on Allegro?
- We cannot put text or vendor logos on the photo
- We can show the item, packaging of the item, logos of brands, products and technologies, color and design markings, certificates and markings, graphic elements such as magnification, cross-section, operating principles, etc., numbers, background (any)
- The minimum length of the longer side is 500 pixels
- Maximum photo size is 2560×2560 pixels, maximum resolution is 26 Mpix, photos with a side longer than 2560 pixels – are automatically scaled proportionally to the allowed size
- Any aspect ratio of the photos is allowed
- Acceptable formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP
- It is unacceptable to use photos of someone else’s authorship, without receiving permission for such use.
In addition to quite a lot of requirements, we also have quite a lot of opportunities, and if we use them properly – Allegro will become a friendly working environment for us.
Apricots
The regulations state that photos are to be clear, unpixelated and underexposed. What technical requirements must the photos meet on Morele?
- We cannot put a store logo or watermark on the photo
- In the main photo, a picture of the model or the unfolded whole product is required
- The minimum photo size is 400×400 pixels
- Acceptable formats are JPG or PNG.
So with Morele, the requirements are less than with Allegro. But we also have fewer options, at least in the case of acceptable formats, it is worth bearing in mind.
Amazon
- We cannot put text, watermark, or vendor logos on the photo
- The photo must be “professional”
- The photo must have a white background
- The minimum length of the longer side is 500 pixels
- The minimum dimension is 1000 pixels
- The ratio of product to background is 80%-20%
- Acceptable color mode is RGB
- Acceptable formats: jpeg, tif or gif
- If the product is a book, music, video or DVD photos – the photo must include a cover that fills 100% of the photo
Empik
In the case of EmpikPlace, the amount of information is small when we talk about requirements. What do we know for sure?
- We can’t put a watermark or vendor logo
- The photo must have a white background
At this platform it is worth stopping for a moment. For in the case of EmpikPlace, we have two options.
- We can add a product that already exists in the catalog
- We can add a product that does not exist in the catalog
